Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Nissan Motor Co delivered 150,271 vehicles in October and became the best-selling Japanese automaker in China last month. In the first ten months of this year, Nissan’s sales in China reached 1,170,033, up 10.8 percent compared with the same period of last year.
The sales of Honda Motor Co came closely to that of Nissan through October. With a rapid and consistent growth in sales, Honda sold 1,159,141 vehicles in China during the same period. In October, Honda’s sales increased 14.5 percent year on year to 132,807 units.
Toyota Motor Corp, Japanese largest automaker by sales, ranked third by sales volume among Japanese automakers in China. Its October sales in China were 112,700 units, a growth of 14.1 percent year on year. By the end of October, Toyota’s year-to-date sales reached 1,070,000, jumping 8.5 percent year on year.
